To celebrate this milestone, the team gathered for a farewell lunch in Elandsdrift on the 20th of August 2016. With their diverse professional built environment interests, namely planning, urban design, real estate, landscape architecture and architecture, their shared vision for the application of resilience thinking to the design and management of cities made for rich and interesting findings and discussions.
As students, Darren, Albert, Emmarie, Edna and Sizwile are grateful for the opportunity afforded to them by Prof. Chrisna du Plessis to be a part of this team. We look forward to seeing where their research takes them in future!
